Coach Virginia Diederich

Virginia Diederich is currently the head varsity coach. This is her 12th year with the team and her 5th year as the head coach. She has also coached several summer league and US Swimming teams. She graduated from the University of Georgia, where she was an All-American member of the swim and dive team. She currently also teaches 5th grade at Oak Grove Elementary School.
Coach Deborah Krug
Deborah Krug is an assistant coach. This is her first year coaching the swim team, and she is loving it. She has grown up around the water while living in Florida and has taught swim for more than half of her lifetime. She is currently in her fourth year teaching Physical Education at ET Booth Middle School, after previously teaching at Carmel ES. She is excited to be a part of the 2016 EHS swim team. Go Eagles!
Coach Nathan Lancaster
Nathan Lancaster is an assistant coach. This is his first year coaching the swim and dive team at Etowah. He swam competitively for various teams over a 12 year span. Coach Lancaster also teaches biology and astronomy at Etowah High School. He is thrilled to be a part of this historically fast and large Eagle Swim Team. Every second matters while swimming, so coach Lancaster is dedicated to give it his all and help students master the many techniques needed to improve speed. Eagles are going to be #1 this year!
Coach Danae Vance
Danae Vance is an assistant coach for the swim and dive team. This is her 5th year helping out with the team. Coach Vance swam competitively for 8 years. She is a member of the math department at Etowah High School.
